Medical insurance

In Georgia, it is important to distinguish between the state program and private medical insurance. The state program provides basic coverage within a defined list of services and limits. Private medical insurance gives access to selected clinics under contract, treatment coordination and a clearer patient pathway. We select the program and clinic network and check limits, co-payments and exclusions in advance, so the client understands not only the policy terms but also how medical care will work in practice.

State program and private insurance — in brief

State program
basic funding with limited services and coverage limits
Private insurance
private clinics under contract, treatment coordination, service and speed
Broker’s role
selection of clinic network, coverage, limits and verification of exclusions

Voluntary health insurance

Access to private healthcare for corporate employees and individual clients: clinics, diagnostics and clear patient routing through assistance services.

Corporate clientsFamilies24/7 assistance

Which clinics you can visit

  • Cities in Georgia: network clinics and partner medical centers. We select the network based on employees’ or family location.
  • The exact list depends on the insurer and selected plan. We confirm it in the quote before payment.

What is included in the plan

Outpatient care
general practitioner and specialists by appointment
Diagnostics
tests, ultrasound, X-ray, MRI/CT — within the program
Emergency care
call-out and hospitalization — subject to insurer’s terms
Dental care
often with a separate limit or as an optional add-on
Medications
sometimes included, more often subject to prescription and limits

The plan composition always depends on the program and limits. We present 2–3 coverage levels and explain the key restrictions before the policy is purchased.

Key questions

  • Chronic conditions are usually not covered in the first year, although exceptions may be possible. We check them and document them in writing.
  • Doctor appointments are usually arranged through assistance, so the client does not have to handle organizational issues alone.
  • Health insurance for individuals is possible, but often more complex than corporate insurance. We select family and individual plans that are not always obvious on insurers’ websites.

Personal accident insurance

This is not treatment arrangement, but a cash payout in case of injury, fracture, disability or death. It is suitable for sports, work and everyday risks.

Cash payoutSports and work24/7 or working hours

Who it is suitable for

  • athletes and children involved in sports clubs or competitions
  • employees in hazardous occupations and industrial work
  • families seeking protection against everyday injuries
  • employers as part of an employee benefits package

How it works

What is paid
a fixed percentage of the insured sum according to the benefit schedule
When it is paid
injury, fracture, disability or death — according to policy terms
Where it applies
work-only or 24/7 — selected when the policy is issued
Sports
training and competitions require correct options, which we check in advance

Personal accident insurance does not replace health insurance. Health insurance arranges treatment, while accident insurance provides a cash payout for rehabilitation, expenses or compensation for loss of income.

About the benefit schedule

In personal accident insurance, the price is not the only important factor. The benefit schedule and injury definitions matter. We compare the wording so that the payout for a typical injury is predictable.

Travel insurance

For visas and trips: medical expenses abroad, assistance services and additional options for active leisure and travel-related risks.

VisaAssistanceAdditional options

Who needs it

  • tourists and families on vacation
  • business travelers and employees on work trips
  • students and people studying abroad
  • those who need the policy to meet consulate or employer requirements

If you get sick abroad

  • 1) Call the assistance service using the number stated in the policy.
  • 2) Follow the route provided by the assistance service: clinic, doctor or hospital.
  • 3) Do not pay on your own without prior approval, unless it is an emergency.
  • 4) Keep all documents: invoices, medical reports, prescriptions and receipts.

Common additional options

Visa
policies meeting the requirements of Schengen, the US, China and other countries
COVID-19
availability of coverage depends on the program and destination country
Active leisure
skiing, diving, moped riding and other activities often require additional coverage
Baggage and flight
flight delay, lost baggage and other service-related risks
Dental care
usually emergency care only and within a limit

We clarify the country, dates, visa type and planned activities in advance. Otherwise, the policy may formally exist but fail to solve the client’s practical need.
